Roberto and his family were so sweet and inviting. The property was amazing, and the surrounding area provided much to see and do. It was the ultimate honeymoon villa for us, and we would recomment it to anyone. Roberto helped us set up a scooter rentel they was delivered to the villa. Breakfast was always wonderful on the patio. AN AMAZING STAY WE HAD. Phil and Amber DiMaria September 2005 ... Roberto is very helpful, will help arrange scooter rental, and also has bus tickets and wine for sale to save you hassles. The home is VERY SECURE: There is a secure gate, and they have a German Sheperd, Locke who was very scary at first but turned out to recognize us the first day and was a great dog to have around. He was very well mannered and at the same time protective of the property. ... Amazing views, grapes overhang as you walk outside your room, breakfast amazing with good coffee, such a nice family. Outstanding area for a nice vacation in Ravello an dsurrounding area. Rent a scooter, its not as scary as it looks, you get the best parking and its truly an enjoyable experience!!

The directions on the website are really only for people travelling by car; we were coming by train & bus, so we didn't know exactly where the B&B was in Ravello. For others travelling by bus from Amalfi - from the main Amalfi bus stop, take the SITA bus toward Ravello/La Scala, and ask the driver to get off at Via Civita. It is on the main route, and you will see a tiny sign for Punta Civita on your left-hand side, about 2 km after you start. It is partway up the hillside, after the cathedral, but much before the main town center of Ravello. ... Completely wonderful! The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was very modern, with jets, which made it a very relaxing experience. The best part was the view - directly overlooking the water. Breakfasts were simple but good - fresh coffee and tea, croissants with jam, breads, etc. ... I would definitely recommend the Punta Civita to a friend.

This is an outstanding B&B. The host, Roberto, is friendly, very obliging and a delight to know. The accom is clean and 1st rate. The scenery from this property has to be seen to be believed ... The airline had lost one of our cases and Roberto was very helpful in making contacts to facilitate the return of same. He also made phone contact on our behalf with our next accom in Rapallo as we would be arriving late. ... We were driven by the host to the bus in Amalfi to travel to the train in Salerno. Great service!! ... The proximity and ease of access, on public transport, to numerous places of interest make this a great place to spend time.It would be of interest to list places such as Capri, Pompei, Ravallo,Sorrento, Pentone nad Amalfi itself. ... Make a booking
(Remember we were there November 2006 so we do not know just what it would be like in other seasons)

Beautiful situation - very warm and welcoming. On the day we arrived there was an 80th birthday celebration - to which we were invited. Our whole experience during our stay here was absolutely unforgettable - Roberto (the owner) is one of the most charming, welcoming, warm man we've ever met. Our stay could not have been improved in any way whatsoever. 100% ... The warmth and welcome from Roberto (the owner) is second to none. ... Pleasant, homely accommodation - fantastic view - a welcome and warmth from the host that is second-to-none.

I did not look at the directions on line, we took the bus from Amafie to Ruffelo and were put off outside the front gate but I would advice taking a taxi as the distance is little and the bus is very very overcrowed and hourly. ... No one could ask for anything better !! ... a real shame to go ... The area is realy nice but visitors should be aware that its steps everywhere, up or down, not much flat. ... A little palace with a view to die for

Roberto was a perfect host. The rooms were immaculate and the veranda and patio are situated with a glorious view of the Amalfi coast. The only thing that might have made things better would have been more variety of food at breakfast, to include meats and cheese and even eggs. ... I would go back there in a heartbeat! As a matter of fact we are already planning our next visit.

Roberto was very welcoming and helpful about giving us all sorts of information. ... It looked truly wonderful on the website and turned out to be as good as we thought it might be. ... The driveway is very difficult to get into and out of, but Roberto is there to help. I wouldn't recommend the place to people who can't do a number of stairs or aren't comfortable with some difficult driving. ... The location is gorgeous - wonderful views and a feeling of complete privacy. We found the walks to and from Atrani for dinner to be just magical (595 stairs each way). Our hosts were very friendly and told us a lot about the area. We enjoyed our bright and clean rooms, loved the terrace, and definitely would go back again.

Roberto was a great host and we enjoyed our stay very much at his home. He was polite and extremely helpful. I would recommend staying there to anyone who wished to holiday in this area. ... Better directions please! We got lost for an hr - drove up to Ravello and only found the place because we asked the local policemen. ... Beautiful views, lovely continental breakfast and an extremely friendly host.

It was quite difficult to find the house, as it was dark when we arrived and the sign was not lit, and when we tried to call, nobody answered the phone. When we finally arrived, we recieved a very warm welcome, and were highly pleased to see that everything was even more beautiful than described online. ... It is inconvinient to have to pay cash, I'd preferred to pay by credit card or visa card. ... Make it easier to find by mentioning the limoncello shop right oposite, that's easy to find. ... Beautiful, lovely rooms, perfect view, charming staff, romantic, nice walk down the steps to the beach in Atrani and if we had an extra day we would have walked up to charming Ravello for dinner. I stayed with my boy friend, and now I know where we are going to spend our honeymoon.

Owner, Roberto, was extremely accommodating to my schedule and to information as to the surrounding areas and to my rescheduling, returning to Roma December 1. He helped in making my reservations in Roma and giving driving directions once in Roma. ... Absolutely lovely, small Italian facility; immaculately clean; (pictures on web site very accurate); facility opened in May 2002, so everything was new; view from terrace was just breathtaking; owner, Roberto, was wonderful and always so helpful but never intrusive. He wanted you to feel 'at home' and comfortable to his community which I did. ... Just beautiful, both the facility and view. Service superb. I would hghly recommend Punta Civita B&B; in fact, I already have. If a visitor to this area wanted to really get a feel of the area and wanted to stay at a B&B, this is the place. Roberto and his family, the owner, really made my stay a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Punta Civita. The room was comfortable, the breakfast overlooking the sea was a fantastic way to start each day. Above all, Roberto made the stay truely memorable. He understands completely how to anticpate his guests needs and deliver an exceptional experience. We had a medical emergency and will forever be greatful for Roberto's expert guidance.

The owner explains very well how to get to places whether by car or by foot and is very helpful if you have questions. ... Plenty of croissants and bread at breakfast, may be fruits or/and yoghurt could be added for people who don't want pastries only. ... Very pretty and relaxed place to rest. Close to Ravello, 30 minutes walk uphill with great views.

This is a lovely place. I found the location superb -- away from the mayhem of Amalfi, yet below Ravello proper, so you only need to drive the hairpin curves up to Ravello when you so desire. Roberto is a charming host, and the terrace (lit by a full moon when we were there) was spectacular. Only one complaint: comparable places offer a much better breakfast spread. (Roberto charges extra for anything more than bun & coffee.)A good breakfast would be the one final touch to make this a superb B&B.

Price of parking. Difficult drive along narrow and windy roads to reach it. Lots of steps to climb to go anywhere on foot. ... A beautiful house with clean spacious rooms with wonderful sea views. An exceptionally helpful and friendly owner.

Roberto was a wonderful host. Upon our arrival he promptly helped with the luggage and showed us to our accommodations. The room, property, and service was 5 star. ... The Punta Civita B&B, Roberto, and the staff were by far the most accommodating, caring, friendly, courtous, and gracious group we came in contact on our travels in Italy. ... Once again, perfect. ... One of the most beautiful places in the world. The combination of the incredable view, the property, and its gracious and smiling host made for a lifetime of memories I will never forget.

We found the directions off the autrostrade differcult to follow, and took a longer route than was necessary. The sign posting was not clear. ... Punta Civita was a overall fantastic. We would have liked more information on the Amalfi area provided in the room, for example suggested sights to see, the local bus timetable and how to purchase the bus tickets. We found parking around the area hard to find. And PLEASE lock up the dog at ALL times. He came very close to attacking us one night when we came home. ... A fantastic B&B with a great view and friendly hosts. Ans so close to the beautiful Ravello!
