Located in the very heart of Perugia in one of the most beautiful and ancient buildings, "Locanda della Posta" is the only hotel that faces the famous "Corso Vannucci", the main street of the oldest section of the town (walking only street).
Perugia Airport (15 minutes distance drive ) allows daily arrivals with direct flights from "Milano Malpensa" and "Roma Fiumicino" as well as connections with the major european cities as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Madrid, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf through Milano and Roma airports. A bus transfer service is provided from the airport to the nearest "Piazza Italia" (50 m far away from us). |

By Car:
From Rome: Take A1 "Autostrada del Sole" and leave it at "Orte" then take the E45 and follow directions for Perugia. Then follow the directions below for instructions on how to enter the city and reach the hotel.
From Firenze: Take A1 "Autostrada del Sole" and leave at "Bettolle Valdichiana" then follow directions for Perugia. Then follow the directions below for instructions on how to enter the city and reach the hotel.
Entering the city of Perugia:
Follow signs for Perugia onto the ring road around the city. Exit the ring road at "Prepo". Passing Hotel Plaza on the right take the left hand lane at the approach to a set of traffic lights.
At the traffic lights turn left and then after about 500 m turn right at sign for "Centro". Continue following signs for "Centro" until you reach the "Piazza Italia" (on your left). Enter the Piazza and stop the car right in front of the "Corso Vannucci" (this is a pedestrian zone where cars cannot enter). The hotel is located 30 m ahead on the left between "Piazza Italia" and "Piazza della Repubblica".
By Train:
From Railway Station of Perugia. Almost all buses lead to the centre of Perugia. Get off in Piazza Italia.
