 The hotel has internal car park, lift, breakfast room, and cafè bar. In addition the Hotel Posta offers a safe deposit box facility and laundry service (available from Monday to Friday) as well as baby-sitting, photocopying, faxing, Internet access, car hire with or without driver, theatre tickets, and tourist excursions. Bicycles are available for guests for a ride around the historic centre.
Breakfast is served in the room or in the 19th century breakfast room on the first floor, with its skylight and Murano glass chandelier, from 7.00 to 10.00 a.m. |
 The bar-room, furnished with Art Nouveau style furniture originating from a famous Reggio Emilia confectioner's in the 1800's, offers the guest a relaxing atmosphere, recalling how bars once used to be with its lacquered furniture with spiral columns, the decorations, floral volutes, pictures of the famous 19th century painter Cirillo Manicardi, and small red velvet sofas. If you would like to make use of our bar facilities for an aperitif, just let the reception staff know. |
 The meeting rooms in the "Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo", with an entrance completely separate from the hotel, are multi-use and modular, and allow for the organisation of any type of event, from company conventions to banquets, from press conferences to gala dinners, from product exhibitions to fashion shows. All have the necessary equipment including: telephone, air conditioning, audio-visual equipment, table and cordless microphones, slide projector, overhead projector, screen, flip chart, television, video player, Hi-fi equipment, recording equipment. Other equipment is available on request. |
 The hotel Management is at guests' complete disposal to give advice about all the artistic, cultural, musical and gastronomic delights to be found in our area and can help to organize unusual excursions, in order to discover enchanting places or to help the guest book a game of tennis or a round of golf in a nearby club. So the Hotel Posta can organize trips for single persons or groups: musical-cultural-gastromical trips to visit a production centre of the famous "Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale" (Traditional Balsamic Vinegar) of Reggio Emilia, complete with tasting, without obviously forgetting a visit to a cheese factory, where the legendary Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese (parmisan cheese) is produced. Guests should not miss an unforgettable visit to the secret parts of the Municipal Theatre, one of Italy's most beautiful theatres. Other visits, all exclusive, will enable the guest to explore an area rich in cultural, musical and gastronomic delights.

The hotel is located in the middle of the historical center, from where everthing is easily reachable by bike or by walking. The shops of the center are closed on thursday afternoon.
