 The Hotel Poseidon appears as a beautiful villa, surrounded by a rich greenery in a pleasant garden. The original idea was to build a small intimate villa for the family, to spend their holidays.
However, inspired by their love for Positano and their entrepreneur spirit, the family transformed the villa into a "special" hotel. |
 The hotel was built in the 1950's and the Aonzo family, who continues to live there, attend to their guests with great personal style. There are 48 rooms and 4 suites, all with terraces overlooking the sea and the coast. Meals are served in the indoor restaurant in the cooler months and in the outdoor restaurant, that is situated on a vast terrace next to the swimming pool, covered and heated in the winter months. |
The location of the hotel is perfect to spend an unforgettable stay in Positano and to discover the treasures of the Amalfitan Coast. Once there you can forget your car as the centre of the old town and the beach are within easy walking distance. |
 If you just want to take in the beauty of Positano, you can do so whenever you wish, from the terraces of the rooms, or from the swimming pool. The hotel attracts for hundred years many international artists, for which, the Poseidon often organizes art shows and retrospectives in a beautiful atmosphere. |
