Restaurants: Guests staying at Hotel Poiano have a choice of two excellent restaurants serving Italian and International dishes. Ristorante Poiano, with its large fully picture windows, provides a splendid view of the lake. The brand new semicircular terrace, a perfect accompaniment to the restaurant, overlooks the stunning Garda Bay and enhances the delicious cuisine. Wide choice of menus, vegetarian menu, salad bar and imaginative selection of desserts. Possibility of theme evenings, gala dinners and piano bar. Ristorante Superior is on the first floor of the conference facility and has its own kitchen. It is the ideal setting for banquets, weddings, lunches, gala evening, cocktail parties and receptions with live shows and music.
 
Bars: Bar Poiano, with its fine wood finish, creates a happy and welcoming atmosphere, offering guests a wide selection of delicious drinks and cocktails. Bar Superior, on the second floor of the conference facility, is a stylish and welcoming lounge, the ideal place for a coffee break but also available as a show room or a venue for small meetings. Beside the swimming pool, the Poiano Gazebo is a modern and practical catering area where guests can order single courses, pizzas, sandwiches, ice-creams and drinks.
 
Conference Centre: The Conference Centre is located in a separate building within the Hotel Residence Poiano estate. Some of the rooms overlook Garda Bay, with a beautiful view of the lake. The separate and exclusive facilities of the conference centre include a stylish restaurant, high class bar, splendid terrace overlooking the lake, modern kitchen and ample reserved car parking. The three floor building is ideal for work meetings, conferences, show-rooms, fashion shows. The exclusive location is perfectly suited to weddings, dance parties, gala dinners with disco, receptions and cocktail parties.
 
Entertainment: The Olympic size swimming pool (50 m x 25 m) and the toddler pool are well equipped with deck chairs and sunshades, allowing guests to enjoy the sun, air and fragrant breezes of Lake Garda. Installed in an ancient olive grove, the play area is the place for our younger guests and the mini-club to meet and have fun. On summer evenings, with the help of our entertainers, guests happily take part in sketch shows and musical entertainment on the stage by the Gazebo.
 
Sport: Sport provides the opportunity for joyful gatherings at Hotel Poiano. The hotel's comprehensive range of facilities includes an Olympic size swimming pool (50 m x 25 m), six tennis courts (four of which have night-time lighting), astroturf five-a-side football pitch (20 m x 40 m), archery, bowls, volleyball. Instructors from the American P.B.I. (Peter Burwash International) tennis school also run week-long courses for all ages, private lessons and personalised programmes for beginners and advanced players. Tennis lovers will find everything they could wish for: six tennis courts, four of them with night-time lighting to carry on playing after sunset.

Reception staff are available to organise visits and excursions to many different places, near and far, for guests to enjoy artistic masterpieces, memorable historic monuments and picturesque environmental attractions. All kinds of transport can be booked, including buses and limousines.
Sirmione and the caves of Catullus: Historical peninsula jutting out into the lake, home of the Latin poet Catullus (1st century B.C.). The "caves" are the magnificent remains of a Roman villa from the Imperial era, still containing frescos from the 1st and 2nd centuries B.C.
Verona: The city of Romeo and Juliet, full of Roman and medieval heritage: Piazza Brà with the Arena, Piazza delle Erbe, Juliet's Tomb, Castelvecchio, Arche Scaligere, Basilica of Saint Zenon, Castel S.Pietro, Roman Theatre.
Venice: Unique in the world and just an hour and a half away by train, Venice is an extraordinary place to visit: St. Mark's Square, the Palazzo Ducale, Rialto Bridge, Academy Galleries, Lido, Murano and Torcello, the Grand Canal in a gondola.
Mantua: City of the Gonzaga family and of the Latin poet Virgil with a wealth of artistic heritage, just 50 km away. Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Te, Piazza Sordello, Piazza delle Erbe, Sant'Andrea, Mantegna's home... and a great deal more.
Dolomites: Guests can spend a day immersed in the enchanting environment of Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, visiting the Sella and Sassolungo mountain areas, the Ampezzo Valley and its jewel Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Bardolino Wine Road: There are as many wine producers as kilometres on this 70 km route. All of them have welcoming wine cellars a few steps away from ancient churches, medieval castles, manor houses with magnificent gardens, local wine tasting and sales of Bardolino classico DOC, Bardolino DOCG, Bardolino Chiaretto DOC. Visit to the wine and oil museum at Bardolino.
Food and wine tour of Valpolicella: The fertile and fruitful land of Valpolicella, rich in history and culture, is a splendid terrace overlooking Lake Garda. Trips can be organised to visit typical Valpolicella cellars and taste the local wines: Recioto DOC, Amarone DOC, Valpolicella Classico DOC. The traditional dishes of the area are: lesso con la pearà (stewed meat with a breadcrumb, ox bone marrow and pepper sauce), potato gnocchi and pastizada de caval (marinated horse meat).
