 The Hotel
All the Standard rooms in the main building have a balcony with a view of the lake or of the hills beyond. They are furnished with flair and an eye for detail and provide every possible comfort. All the rooms have: hydro massage shower (some with bathtub), hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, mini-bar, air conditioning and balcony. |
 The Superior Rooms
Situated about 250m from the main building, the rooms are spacious (around 37mē) and furnished with wicker furniture. They all face the lake and have a small lounge with a double sofa bed. The separate reserved car parks are adjacent to these buildings. All the rooms have a bath/shower, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning and furnished balcony or terrace. |
 The Apartments
Poiano offers apartments located in six different buildings known as block A, block B-C-D, block E-F in which there is a wide range of different apartment types:
· Type A (two room): lounge with sofabed for two people, kitchenette, twin room, shower /WC.
· Type B (three room): same as type A but with an extra twin room.
· Type C (four room): same as type B but with an extra twin room and two bathrooms. |
 Block A: This is the historical heart of the estate. The tower known as "Colombara" dates back to the early 14th century and beside it stands the rural building that was originally occupied by the tenant farmers working on the Poiano estate. Buzzards used to fly down to this area in the evenings from Rocca di Garda and the top of Monte Luppia, known as "Sengia", to find food. Known in Italy as "poiane", buzzards are very rare birds of prey and are now on the verge of extinction. The Poiano Estate takes its name from them. These historic buildings were restored and extended at the beginning of the 1980s when the first residential complex was created. In 2003 the apartment floors, terraces and furnishings were completely renovated. The furniture, curtains, bathroom accessories and pictures were chosen with particular care. All the rooms are air conditioned. |
 Block B-C-D: Apartments in block B-C-D have been designed in a functional and modern style. They are available in different sizes to accommodate up to eight people.
Block E-F: This is a real mini village consisting of delightful, modern and extremely functional country style apartments built around a central square. All the houses are painted in the lively red and yellow hues which are typical of the countryside around Garda. |
