Facilities outside the Estate

Assisi: The town of Assisi, is located on a slope of Mount Subasio at approx. 400 m altitude, in one of the most characteristic spots of Umbria. Entirely built in white and rose stone of Mount Subasio, its look is characterised by narrow, steep and winding alleys which have preserved their look and charm over the centuries. In the town quarter of Porta Perlici, a town gate of the 12th century with a double inner arch and door-posts in Umbrian and Roman blocks, you will see the remains of the structure of the Roman Amphitheatre (I sec.d. C.), of the 1st century A.D., the elliptical form of which can still be recognized in the lay-out of the medieval houses.
