We arrived by bus from Sorrento. I asked the driver to let me know when we reachede Vettica and the hotel but he failed to do so. It was a very crowded bus.
On returning from Amalfi the driver of that bus dropped us at the door.

A very friendly hotel with an excellent brakfast. We only tried the evening meal once and the hotel is not geared for vegetarians but tried hard to accommodate us.
I thought the meal expensive, but the roof terrace where we ate delightful.

We were very late arriving due to flight delays from the U.S. Fernanda was SO welcoming and offered cappucino right away while she was busy checking us in and collecting helpful information for us.

It was a little further out of town than expected, but the staff were so helpful with bus schedules that it worked out just fine! We could walk to town in daylight easily though.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Pergola - the room was nice, the view wonderful, the staff extremely helpful and happy! The friendly welcome by Fernanda after a long delayed arrival in Amalfi, was just what we needed! We felt we got more than our money's worth, as long as you don't mind not being right in Amalfi! I'd recommend Hotel La Pergola to my friends.

It is located right by a road, so it can be quite noisy at night with buses honking their horn as they go around the corner.
However, the friendliness of the staff and the lovely rooms more than make up for this.

I stayed in four places during my trip to Italy and I would rate this as the best. The meal we had on the terrace restaurant (nice view over the sea) was fantastic and excellent value for money. The staff were extremely helpful, even offering us a lift into Amalfi when we missed our bus.

We were very impressed with the hotel itself, the location and the staff. The accommodation was excellent. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, and although we don't normally eat in hotel restaurants we ate where three times in the week. Excellent food, wine and first rate service. No complaints.

No problem. Fast and efficient. Felt very personal. Hotel booked our private car for us to the airport so it was hassle free.

The hotel make their own red wine which is lovely. Also make their own Limoncello (the local lemon liquer)

Top rate hotel, but without the 'stuffiness' or coldness of a larger hotel. Felt very homely and friendly while remaining efficient and offering professional service. Highly recommended.

Regarding arrival you really need a detailed instruction that tells you which road to take at the fork in the road when coming from the village of Amalfi - that is, direction Positano.

They have a homemade dinner each night in the lemon grove garden overlooking the sea. These dinners were FABULUOS!!!

We were very well greeted upon our arrival. All of our questions were dealt with in a positive manner.

The hotel was perfectly clean and well kept. The rooms were equally clean and comfortable. The waiter was the best that we encountered during our whole stay in Italy. Also the pizza was perfecto.I wish we would have planned our trip to include a longer stay at this hotel, maybe next time.

A wonderful hotel with beautiful bedrooms and a lovely view. Really warm experience due to such lovely helpful staff. Would definately suggest the hotel to others.

Very good quality meals and value for money. it would be good if the drinks menu/price was displayed in the eating area and to clarify what is included in the meal price.
