Arrival experience was very good. The hotel is very close to the train station (about 2 minute walk!). We didn't even have the directions printed out, but people in the town knew of the hotel and happily gave us directions. The man who greeted us was very friendly and we checked into our room quickly.

Our stay was wonderful. Bonassola was a great town to stay in for trips to Cinque Terre, but without so many tourists. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable, exactly what we expected! Only slight downside was the old building did not have good sound-proofing, but a pair of earplugs helped out tremendously!

I would highly recommend this hotel for an affordable but very nice and clean accomodation. The location is great and convenient. The breakfast was quite good with a variety of pastries, cereals, yogurts, breads, and delicious coffee. Bonassola also has a picturesque beach and is far less crowded than Cinque Terre.

They were eagerly awaiting our arrival and made us feel like family. Our only complaint was that we were told there would be a parking space for us and there was none. We had to park between two trees and wait until a space opened up in the street.

We found it to be extremely quaint and pleasant. We had breakfast outside every day in the garden and the staff was very accomodating. They were extremely helpful when we had questions. Also, the location was excellent. It was next to the train station (not noisy) and in a beautiful town that we would visit again.

We loved Bonassola. It was the perfect place for us because it was quiet while we were there in mid-September. We were happy to be the only Americans. We didn't need a car while we were there. It was convenient to the train station and restaurants in Bonassola.

I miss the information that the hotelrooms where VERY close to the railwaytrack - and there was a lot of trains who passed day and night. Except from that it was a very nice hotel and nice staff. - and very good food in the restaurant of the hotel

The restaurant had VERY good food and excellent service.
The negative part was as mentioned abow that most of the rooms where VERY cloce to the railwaytrack so it was very noisy - day and night. I think all in all the hotel and staff was nice, but I think it should be less expencive to stay there because of the railway and a lot og noise from the trains.
