Especially, Tony at the reception has been extremely helpful, and he made our stay very comfortable. He is the best.

Our stay in Positano will be everlasting memory for our family thanks to the best hospitality of the hotel.
...
Positano is the best summer resort place, and you should stay at Hotel Pasitea, which is one of the best.

We had someone pick us up in a Taxi - this seemed the easiest quickest and safest route to the hotel.

We weren't sure what to expect. The room wasn't huge but we were only there to shower and sleep. The property has a nice character about it and we really enjoyed the views from the Balcony - which is a highlight. While the property is a long walk from the beach we figured that the exercise was a balance for all the good food and wine available locally.

Just highlight the lovely views! Also, it's really clean and the pastries at Breakfast were delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Best Western is a bright, clean, quite modern hotel offering adequate room space for those wishing to spend there time exploring the positano or relaxing at the beach. The Hotel Pasitea is set high on the hill at the top of Positano which provides the balconies from the bedrooms with wonderful views out over the town and the ocean. While the walk up the hill is a challenge there is a local bus which provides an easier route, however, don't miss out on all the shopping as you return from a hard day at the beach.
STaff at the Hotel Pasitea are friendly and helpful. If it hadn't been for our conscierge we would never have spent the day at Ravello which is one of the most lovely hilltop towns on the Amalfi Coast.

There are two things I would recommend to make my stay more comfortable: 1 - Provide plug-in hairdryers; the tube from the wall wouldn't dry a baby's hair much less an adult's; 2 - Either put up a shower curtain or a larger partition on the bathtub. It was impossible to take a shower without getting the entire bathroom wet.

The room was very nice with a little terrace facing the water. It was noisy because we were on the 2nd floor facing the street; also, not the hotel's fault, but the fumes from the traffic bothered us quite a bit.
...
Just what I mentioned so far.

I thought it was lovely with a wonderful breakfast & a great location. I would, however, recommend staying on a higher floor because of the traffic & fumes.

The staff was very helpful and very polite. We just found that they were not helpful with regards to our questions regarding Positano. We wanted to go to San Pietro and the two people behind the desk insisted there were no water taxis to get there. There were in fact several. Upon leaving they told us there would be no more boats because of the August 15 holiday, we met people who did leave by boat to Naples. That was the only disappointing thing about the hotel, we walked away feeling we were lied to.

The hotel was beautiful and our view of Positano was spectacular. We happened to get the room with the large terrace and we took full advantage of it, in the morning at sunrise and the evening at sunset. Nicely located too!

The whole area is very confusing to drive to and there are a lot of one-way roads, etc. It would be helpful to maybe give some landmarks in your directions or be a little more precise. Maybe have distances to go by, or more signs for the 'Best Western Pasitea' located on the Amalfi Drive?

Also, my reservation said it included parking but when I got there I was told it did not. The woman that told me that was not willing to listen but on the day we checked out, the gentleman who was there explained the parking situation and that it is never included, however, thankfully he did honor my reservation of no charge for parking. I appreciated this.

Also, the woman who was working during our stay (during the 5 nights there was a woman working in the evening and a man working in the mornings) kept trying to sell us tours of local sites when we were asking about buses/trains. She told us we wouldn't want to take a busride and then another train ride to Pompeii (but this is what we enjoy about travelling). Again, thankfully, the gentleman in the morning gave us the correct bus and train schedules and told us to have a wonderful time! I do not remember their names.

In general, we had a very nice stay and would recommend your hotel to others, as well as come back and stay ourselves!
...
We received a good value for the money because we stayed during the off-season. We enjoyed a very nice, clean room with a beautiful view!
...
Make sure you state that parking is not included and must be paid directly to the parking lot owners-not the hotel.
...
Very nice and clean and offered many services. Most of the staff very helpful and spoke English well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

We were shown to a very small room on arrival. However, on requesting a change of room, the duty manager was extremely helpful in accommodating our request.
