 In General: In Positano you will find all services like: chemist, bank, grocery stores and so on.
The hotel is far enough away from the main tourist areas so that you do not have to deal with all the bus tours, but close enough to allow you to easily walk to and from the town centre. A bus that goes almost everywhere in Positano stops right in front of the hotel every ½ hour. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs as the hotel is a 15 minutes on foot from sea, about 35-45 stories above the beach.
