How To Reach Us

By plane: International Abruzzo Airport in Pescara is placed at a distance of 6 kilometres from Park Hotel Alcione, with regular connections from Rome and many other cities within Europe. Even though there is a shuttle service provided by the hotel to pick you up at the terminal (for an extra cost), you can also take buses to reach the property. Fiumicino airport in Rome is 240 kilometres away.

By car: From Abruzzo airport, follow the signs for Asse Attrezzatto, a motorway leading to the major resorts along the beach: drive towards Pescara and around 6 kilometres later get off at the exit "Ancona/Foggia". Continue in the direction "Francavilla al Mare" and then follow the signs indicating the location of the hotel. You must turn left into Via delle Napee and at a roundabout, take Viale Alcione. Before the second street on your right, you will see the hotel. (10 minutes drive)

If you are coming from Rome, get on highway A25 and abandon it at the exit "Chieti". You will reach a ring road, where you have to go along the exit "Francavilla al Mare" and drive on to SS16. (2 hours 20 minutes).

By train: From Abruzzo airport you can reach Pescara Centrale railway station by bus, and then get on other buses to come to Francavilla (4 kilometres away from Pescara Centrale). Bus number 1 and 2 leave you off only 10 metres from the inn, and they run every 15 to 30 minutes. You should also know that there are trains departing from Rome to Pescara Centrale station on a regular basis (2 hours and a half trip, approximately).
