The arrival experience was excellent. We parked in the garage and our bags were taken to the hotel. The situation could not have been better.

The only regret we had after checking in was that we were only going to be there for one day. My next stay will be much longer.
The restaurant, which I had been told would not be open, was in fact open but the menu was very limited and not to my liking.

An absolute dream location and facility. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

When we first arived, we were given a room in the lower portion of the hotel. It did not look anything like the photos in the ad, and there was no view. If you are going to have rooms like this, please state that we will receive a room without a view. Fortunately, the hotel was able to accommodate a change for us, and we did enjoy the room that we had.

Afgter the hotel changed the room that we were initially given, we loved the Hotel Palumbo.

We arranged for the hotel to send a car to collect us from Naples airport, so arrival instructions were by default' very clear'

Ravello was more sophisticated and les touristy than Amalphi or Posetano. Food was excellent. Vrery comfortable. Sea side Villa excellent for a relavxed swim. They send a chef to cook lunch for you!

You should hav a lkink to the concerts available in and around Ravello.
Local bus to Amalfi leaves from the other side of the road tunnel from the main square. Tickets must be pre-purchsed from the Tabac. (about 1€ each way)

Sophisticated cool retreat. Great views great food. good options for touring from there.

we expected a charming historical palazzo and that was the experience. We felt the rooms we a tad overpriced for the size and quality - but its an original authentic experience and once we ate at the restaurant there were no further thoughts given to the price. The food was extraordinary - the best we've had in italy (and we travel!) we have been back two weeks and i still eat mozzarella from campagna,tomatoes, figs and prosciutto every morning! Also Salvatore was a most memorable and fabulous waiter - he even made us zabilgnone (sp?) for dessert!
we will definitely return.

We were very disappointed at the standard of the room reserved for us. The bathrooms and furniture were extreemely dated for a 5 star hotel.
We were upgraded at a small additional cost following complaints
...
The Hotel has a great deal of beautiful furniture and features, but does not compare to other 5 star hotels in Ravello that have updated wet areas.
