One of the best hotels in the world!
Palazzo Sasso is an absolutely marvelous hotel, magnificent in service, food, rooms and common areas. It is a beautiful location. Very highly recommended!

the only complaint we had were the size of the rooms . We booked a king double mountain view and for the price we paid it was very small and we had no bath as there was just enough room for the shower .

We arrived by car and it was parked in the hotel car park but on check-out we were charged 20euros a day for parking , this was not stated when we arrived . Paying 375euros per night for a double room I would expect not have to pay parking in the hotels own car park .

Was initially given a very dissappointing
room. <sea could only be seen by by stepping out on
balcony.>> Complained. Was offered a
better room, but not until the next day.
After one night (of a three night stay) in a
dissappointing room, we were changed to an
amazingly beautiful room <considered a sea front room>>. Two out of
three nights were better accomodations than
expected. The first night was worse.

Staff (Antonio) was very helpful. He even
acted as our travel agent helping us with
our travel plans within Italy to our next
hotel after our stay.

Like many hotels, they may try to give you a
substandard room just to see if you will
accept it. You need to complaint to get a
better room. It is a beautiful luxury
hotel. You will be treated like royalty,
but you have to assert your aristocratic
privileges.

We did receive the KING Mountain view at a 25 Euro discount. However, it was quite small and the view was only partly of the distant mountains. The first impression was of the neighbors' messy backyards. It was certainly not anything like any of the accommodations pictured on your website. It was clean, private and quiet (except for the fireworks that went off at 1 a.m.!) That was our only disappointment about this property.

Luxurious accommodation with spectacular views from the hotel's public areas but unless you agree to one of the most expensive rooms, the accommodation may be disappointing.
