By car
- From Rome
Solution A:
This is the best way to reach Ravello, less traffic and nice view on Naples: follow the indications to Salerno and the exit gate is Pagani-Nocera. Follow the indication "Valico di Chiunzi" and "Costiera amalfitana".
Solution B:
This is the way to reach Ravello along the Amalfi Coast (more panoramic but more traffic, expecially during the week-end and bank holiday). Follow the indications to Salerno and the exit gate is "Vietri sul mare". Follow the indications "Costiera amalfitana" and "Ravello".
- From Naples
Solution A:
From the motorway A3 Napoli-Pompei-Salerno, the exit gate is Angri. Follow the indication "Valico di Chiunzi" and "Costiera amalfitana".
Solution B:
From the motorway A3, Napoli-Pompei-Salerno, the exit gate is "Vietri sul mare". Follow the indications "Costiera amalfitana" and "Ravello". This itineraryis more panoramic but more traffic, expecially during the week-end and bank holiday.
- From the South
From the motorway (A3) the exit gate is Salerno. Follow the indications to Vietri sul Mare and take the SS163 "Amalfi Coast" to Ravello.
By bus
From Naples and Salerno take the SITA bus to Amalfi, and then change for Ravello.
By train
The reccomanded railway station is Salerno.
From Salerno take the SITA bus to Amalfi, and from there the bus to Ravello.
By plane
- Solution A:
From the international Napoli-Capodichino Airport, take a taxi or rent a car to Ravello (65 kilometers).
- Solution B:
From the international Napoli-Capodichino Airport take an ALIBUS to Napoli Centrale railway station, then a train to Salerno and SITA bus to Amalfi and then to Ravello.
On the Amalfi Coast
Amalfi (5 Km far from Ravello) is the terminal of busses and ferries. From Amalfi there are many connections to the other towns of the coast. |
