L'Orto degli Angeli is located in the centre of Umbria, an ideal position to visit our beautiful region. In less than an hour's drive you can reach the farthest destinations in the region such as Orvieto, Cittą di Castello, Gubbio, Norcia, Amelia, Narni, Marmore Waterfall and Lake Trasimeno. In less than 30 minutes you can reach Perugia, Torgiano, Deruta, Assisi and Spoleto. Spello, Foligno, Trevi, Montefalco and Bettona are all in a 10-kilometre radius. Our guests organize their own excursions and visit two or three of these towns every day. If you feel like travelling a bit farther you can easily reach Rome and Siena in about 90 minutes and Florence in about two hours. |

Coming by Car
From North Italy:
Take the A1 highway towards South Italy and exit at Valdichiana, take the SS 75 (highway) to Perugia, Assisi, Foligno. Exit at Foligno Nord-Bevagna (about 45 minutes from Valdichiana)and drive towards Bevagna (there are several signs for the village and the house, you can't get lost).
From South Italy:
Take the A1 highway and exit at Orte. Once there take the highway to Terni, Spoleto, Foligno. Exit at Foligno Nord-Bevagna (about 75 Km from Orte)and drive towards Bevagna (there are several signs for the village and the house, you can't get lost). Once in Bevagna drive through Porta Foligno, a gate in the medieval walls, and carry on along the main street for about 150 m: L'Orto degli Angeli is on your right hand-side.
Coming by Train
The nearest railway station is at Foligno (8 km far from us). Once there you can reach Bevagna catching a bus called "La Spolentina".
Coming by Plane
The nearest airport is "Perugia S.Egidio" at approx. 30 km far from us. You can reach the property renting a car and following the above instructions. |
