The L'Orangerie provided the kind of stay that one cannot receive at most large hotels. The owner took great care in renovating his families beautiful old home. The rooms were modern, but retained their historical charm. The owner and his staff were extremely courteous, and provided us with very useful information about Modica and the surrounding area.

Very nice place to reserve. However, very difficult to find. Fortunately, somebody helped us to find the street and explained as well as the parking issue with Modica.

We were traveling with a rental car. Once we arrived in the town of Modica it was not easy to find the street address. As it turns out the street is not drivable because it is steps and a small alley behind the main street. We went into a flower shop where the gentleman there was very helpful and called the inn for us, immeidatly the innkeeper meet us at the flower shop and directed us to on street parking and helped us unload our luggage.

I would highly recommend this inn. It is centrally located in the city, in a quiet alley which gives you all the excitiment of being in a city yet quiet location.
