Accommodations

The Suite - A: This is the smallest, but undoubtedly the most charming, of our apartments. It is furnished with a daybed, armchair, TV and a folding table, ingeniously designed to look like a picture hanging on the wall when closed. The room is complete with kitchenette and bathroom. There is a double bed on a raised platform, under the ceiling, which is decorated with a fresco dating from the mid-1800. A balcony in the living-room opens out onto a terrace, where a table, chairs and reclining deck-chairs are shaded by a big umbrella and surrounded by hibiscus, prunes and roses.

The Suite - B: The entrance, a small glass-roofed room with a neoclassical ceiling of the same date as the house, gives access, to a fully equipped kitchen, to the bathroom and to the living room. The room is furnished with wicker and cottonwood chairs, a daybed and a folding table hanging on the wall when closed. Two balconies in the living-room open out onto a terrace facing a lemon trees garden. There is a double bed on a raised platform, under the ceiling decorated by tempera painting

The Suite - C: The entrance, a small glass-roofed room with a neoclassical ceiling of the same date as the house, gives access, on one side to a fully equipped kitchen, and on the other to the living room. The room is comfortably furnished with wicker and cottonwood chairs, a daybed, a small table and a console that, when opened, becomes an ample dining table. A triptych by a well-known contemporary artist decorates the walls. The sleeping quarters consist of two beds under a raised platform, with wrought and sheet iron bed-heads, painted in the Sicilian style; there are two more beds on the platform. The ceiling of this room, too, is decorated by tempera painting. Outside the living room there is a small balcony, scented by the sweet aroma of wisteria.

La Petite Chambre - D: This room has two wrought and sheet iron beds, hand-painted with classical themes. A sliding door separates the bathroom from the living room. Outside, there is a small, well-furnished terrace, surrounded by natural greenery.

La Chambre Rouge - E: A warm sensation of colour is one's first impression of this room. There is a large built-in wardrobe next to the door. The room has two openings; one a window that looks out onto the roofs of the neighbouring houses, and a second that leads to a small, well-furnished terrace, also accessible from room D. The two rooms together can form an original suite, connected externally. A prominent feature of this room is the beautiful triptych, the work of an important contemporary Italian artist. The bathroom features a tone-on-tone pattern.

La Chambre Verte - F: For its predominant green tones, this room was re-baptized the "green room". It contains a pair of cast iron beds, decorated by paint and printing, of the early 1900's. Features of the furnishing worthy of note are the beautiful chairs, designed by one of the most celebrated of Art Nouveau architects. There is also a hand-made table, designed by the same architect who was responsible for restoring the house, which contains a concealed mini-bar. A bright, spacious bathroom completes the room.

La Chambre Jaune - G: This is called the "yellow room" because of its predominant colour. It can host up to 3 people, and is furnished with a double-bed and, behind a screen, a daybed. The bathroom is of an intense blue that contrasts with the main cream colours of the bedroom. Two bright windows overlook the neighbouring roofs. The room is enriched by the graphic works of another important Italian painter.
