One of the hoteliers collected us from the railway station in Salerno and drove us the 15km to the hotel. They advertise this service and it was extremely helpful. ... The hotel seems to be operated by two young brothers. As it was a family run hotel I expected them to be warm, relaxed and friendly. However, while they were very polite and helpful when asked for help, they kept to themselves and did not 'engage' with us. ... they allowed us to pay our bill the night before departure which was a great help. ... lunch not available during certain seasons. ... A very pleasant family-run hotel on well kept grounds with access to a very nice, clean private beach across the road. Clean well serviced rooms offering good value accomodation. I recommend it.

There are not many places to eat near the hotel that we could find. It would be nice to have some options available for that purpose. ... It was a very nice place to stay, quiet and spacious. It was not in town so be ready to take a bus if you are considering excursions to the Amalfi Coast or Pompeii. I would stay there again.

We would certainly stay at the Hotel Olympico again. The room was clean, the shower had excellent hot water and pressure, and the breakfast was superb!!

The accommodations were clean and adequate -we had to ride the bus that did not run on Sundays to get into town or taxi - the beach was beautiful and service was good - not too much English available consequently causing some problems with taxi, etc., and room accomodations - would recommend for family who wanted to get away from everything. ... need to take bus or taxi for anything other than Olimpico - Bus does not run on Sunday - and taxi is Euro 25 ... good for a get away.

The hotel is not exactly in Salerno - by public transport it is approx. 25 mins from the Salerno station. Guests without own transport need to take account of limited public transport, especially late evenings. Cost of Taxis to central Salerno can add up significantly to the holiday budget!!! ... Very informal and friendly place for families - staff was very helpful.

Family hotel clean and well run, fair value for money. Resort pretty dismal and immediate local attractions very limited. Beach not that attractive. Convenient for amalfi coast and paestrum and pompei sites and cheaper than amalfi hotels
