From Bologna Central Railway Station: We are at less than 2 km from the train station, so a taxi should not cost a lot because it is a 5 minutes drive.
Driving from Stazione Bologna Centrale Bologna:
Follow Viale Pietro Pietramellara for 170 m then turn left, follow Via Giovanni Amendola for 324 m, turn right, follow Piazza Dei Martiri 1943-1945 for 35 m and drive around the round about into Piazza Dei Martiri. Turn right into Via Guglielmo Marconi for 224 m then turn left, follow Via Giacomo Leopardi for 67 m, then right into Via Polese, turn left Via Riva Di Reno then right into Via Nazario Sauro for 385 m. Continue into Via Cesare Battisti for 151 m then left into Via Iv Novembre for 81 m, then right Via Volto Santo for 97 m, left into Vicolo Sant'Arcangelo for 98 m when you will reach Piazza Galileo Bologna.
From the North (Milan, Parma, Reggio-Emilia,etc):
You should take the A1 Highway towards Rome (South) and exit at Svincolo Bologna-Casalecchio. From there, At sign MARANELLO(SS569)/VIGNOLA turn right, exit: 1 Follow Via Pietro Nenni-Asse Sud-Ovest for 2.7 km until Bologna. Follow Via Giuseppe Saragat for 299 m, Follow the roundabout Rotonda Luciano Romagnoli for 122 m than take Via Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi for 641 m, Follow Via Tolmino for 426 m, Turn left, follow Via Sabotino for 703 m then Turn right, follow Viale Giovanni Vicini for 264 m. Turn left, follow Piazza (Square) Di Porta Sant'Isaia for 53 m, follow Via Sant'Isaia for 579 m, Follow Via Barberia for 95 m, Turn left, follow Via De' Gombruti for 47 m, Turn right, follow Via San Marcellino for 105 m, follow Via Santa Margherita for 78 m, Turn left, follow Via Volto Santo for 48 m and finally Turn right, follow Vicolo Sant'Arcangelo for 98 m and you arrive in Piazza Galileo.
