The room was very clean and worth the many stairs for the view from the top floor! Not exactly quiet, since it is next to a church yard where kids play, but I didn't mind, since it was fun to watch and listen to them.

Our room on the top floor was bright and airy, and very clean. I was surprised at how nice it was, especially considering the age of the building. The receptionist was very helpful when we needed to find a place to eat supper. The hotel is a bit up the road from the touristy part of town, which was nice because we felt like we were in a real town, not just a tourist spot. The local people were friendly and always greeted us. There is a self-serve laundry and a grocery just down the road. Our room had a small refrigerator in it where we stored water and fruit. There was no safe in the room, which would have been nice.

Generally okay. May not choose to stay there again as a single as I think singles get the worst rooms. I believe the other rooms may have been nicer.

What you pay for is what you get. Not the nicest place I stayed in on my trip but adequate for what was required. Standard accommodation - nothing special.

I would like the reservation process to include something about the lack of parking. We had never been there before and didn't know what to expect. We arrived with no parking reserved. That was a real problem. We finally purchased parking but it would have been much nicer to have know we needed parking before we left.
