The Castello della Montecchia apartments are very nice and very well run. The apartment was clean and the furniture well-kept. The kitchen appliances also looked as if they were new.
It was a nice experience to live on a working vineyard producing good quality wines. It is also very centrally located in Veneto province making it very convenient for day trips to surrounding cities like Venice, Verona and Padua.
There was only one drawback - the apartments are not located on a hill with long sweeping views of the Italian countryside.

As this is a propoerty of particular interest to golfers - information regarding green fees and fees to use the driving range (the later was quite high) Shops and restaurants (apart from golf club) not in walking distance

Pleasant apartment, little private outside space but ideal for touring the area.

The apartment was quite comfortable. I would make a couple of improvements, however. The door to the master bedroom did not close and this should be fixed. Also, the curtains in the kitchen and the living room should be replaced with curtains that can be drawn open. This first thing I did when I arrived was to take down the curtains to let in the light and see the great view. However, replacing the curtains was a struggle.
Also, I would supply the guests with a better map of the area. I was lost several times and no decent map was supplied by the office. A map showing the turnoffs from Padova to Montecchia is essential, with landmarks noted. The manager was good enough to point out that the best landmark for the road to Montecchia from the road circuling Padova is the Ferrari dealership. This landmark saved me a number of times trying to find this turnoff on foggy nights and the signs are nonexistent.

We couldn't find the office easily. In fact the office was the wine shop which was not discribed. It would been helpful if they stated that.

Very good. the system of using pool, collecting vouchers from the office each morning could been easier, it would been better if they can provide a weekly card or something.
