 The Monachicchio B&B is a nice villa located in the heart of "Selva di Fasano". The young owners offer to their guests a relaxing and amusing holiday. Accommodation comprises: a small terrace for breakfast, three new double rooms, and two new bathrooms with shower tastefully furnished. Breakfast is carefully cooked and served by the house owner, and it includes home made fresh cakes, jams and fruit juices. |
It is served in the garden under the gazebo or rin the terrace. Few kilometers far you can find the fantastic "Zoo Safari" of Fasano, and within a range of 15 km many of the most beautiful attractions of Itria Valley, Capitolo and Savelletri beaches. |
 Of notable interest are the ruins and Museum of Egnathia. This ancient city, dating back to Roman times, was the last fort before Brindisi on the Appian Way. Also not to be missed is Martina Franca, a city renowned for its Baroque architecture or Polignano with houses clinging to steep cliffs or Ostuni referred to local as "The White City". |
Puglia boast extensive Roman remains including the impressive theatres of Lecce and Lucera and the celebrated Roman columns, which mark end of the Appian Way. There are many restaurants offering local cuisine including the best seafood dishes in the region, along with excellent wines. |
