 Breakfast
It is served in our cosy courtyard or in the intimacy of your own room from 7.17 to 10 am. You will find full white or black bread, toasts, butter, diet margarine, jam, marmalade, honey, cheese, ham and salami, orange and grapefruit juices, assorted yoghurts, corn flakes and müsli. Besides all that we daily change between omelette, hard-boiled eggs, pineapple, water-melon, prunes, peaches or pears in syrup sauce, crêpes, pancakes and biscuits.
American Bar
The hotel has a comfortable lounge with American bar where our guests may relax drinking a fresh apéritif before tasting our renowned good kitchen. |
 Restaurant
The Gazebo is our open air "à la carte restaurant". Ut is open every evening from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm and it provides the ideal place for romantic candlelit dinners. Hotel Moderno is renowned for the good quality of its catering and delicious dishes are served in the two dining-rooms: the sober central dining-room or the Pompeian dining-room, where the red colour predominates with reproductions of paintings and reports of the ancient civilisation of the famous southern italian town. |
 Meeting room
Hotel Moderno offers an intimate meeting room for small groups (10/15 guests). It is used also as Tv room when our guests want to follow a football match or any other program with their friends and Internet Point at guests' disposal.
Shaded by an ancient wisteria, just in the middle of the hotel, the La Damigiana, is the characteristic inner courtyard decorated with ceramics of the Mediterranean Amalfi coast. In summer breakfast is served here, while during the day it is a very quiet peaceful spot where to read, have a drink or play cards. It is used also as an extension of the Gazebo à la carte restaurant. Additional facilities include lift and night porter. |

 Hotel Moderno is located in the centre of Stresa, one of the most renowned holiday resorts of Lake Maggiore. It is a picturesque village offering many dining facilities, traditional shops and several sport facilities such as tennis and golf courses. On Friday there is an enchanting street market.
