By Plane
International Abruzzo Airport is situated nearby the city of Pescara and it is placed only 17 kilometres from the hotel which can be easily reached by car or train. This airport welcomes flights from other cities in Italy as well as terminals in Europe such as Barcelona, Frankfurt and Paris.
From Pescara Airport you have to take the shuttle to Pescara railway station. Meanwhile, Fiumicino or Ciampino in Rome are around 2 hours and a half from it. You have to take the shuttle to Roma Termini railway station and after you have to arrive to Pescara railway station where you can take the train to Silvi and where you can picked up by a member of our staff.
By Car
As you leave Pescara airport, go along motorway SS5 and turn left in SS16. After the towns of Pescara and Montesilvano Marina, you will arrive in Silvi. Turn right at Via Dante Alighieri, and drive long Via Gabriele D`Annunzio and Via Colombo. By now you will be already going parallel to the beach: Via Colombo soon changes its name to Via Garibaldi, and after Piazza Colombo, look for Mìon Hotel Sanìo Restaurant on number 22, on your right hand side. (This journey will take you around 20 minutes).
If you land in Rome, you will have to drive around 250 kilometres. Reach motorway A24/E80 through A91 and A90 highways and get off at the exit "Pescara Nord/ Cittá S. Angelo" on the A14/E55.
By Train
The Mìon Hotel Sanìo Restaurant offers a transfer service to and from Pescara airport or Pescara central station (for an extra cost); meanwhile, the transfer is free if you are picked up at Silvi station, placed only 300 metres from the property. At the airport in Pescara, you can take a taxi to Pescara Centrale railway station and then an 11 minutes train to Silvi. Pescara is also accessible from Rome through services that take between 2 hours and a half and 4 hours. |
