 The Hotel Metropole & Suisse au Lac is located in the main square of Como, just in front of the well-known lake. From the hotel you can easily reach the main Railway Station, the Highway both to Milan and to Switzerland and the Milan airports. |
From Como railway station:
You can reach the hotel in walking distance from the main train station (Como S. Giovanni). It takes approximately 10 minutes. Walk down the staircase right in front of the station and keep straight on. After two traffic lights, you'll get to a square - Piazza Volta - Walk across it and take the narrow street on the other side - Via Fontana. You will reach Piazza Cavour. The Metropole and Suisse will be on your left-hand side.
From the Highway A9 "Como-Milano" exit:
Arriving from Switzerland leave the highway at the first exit after the border (Como Nord), then follow directions to town centre (Cittą). Our hotel is located in the main square right at the waterfront. Arriving from Milan airports, leave the highway at Como Sud and then follow for "Como centro".

From Milano Linate LIN (40 km):
you must take the shuttle to Milano Central Station (it runs approx. every 20 minutes) and then train connection to Como.
