We enjoyed the peacefulness of using the pool in the late afternoon after our morning excursions, no screaming children!

We were the first customers of the new season therefore they were in the midst of getting the property ready, however, this was ok.

There should be a better method for opening the gate when arriving or leaving the facility. We had to get out of the car each time and ring the bell for the gate to open. There should be an automatic system for notifying the front desk when a car is wating to arrive or leave.
When I am in Europe I like to keep in touch with the news by watching CNN on television, but that was not available at this site.
The pool is beautiful but the water was too cold to swim in. A heated pool would have been a nice feature.
A list of nearby restaurants with directions would have been helpful.

I thought the 2ooo and 3000 year old olive trees were amazing and worth mentioning on the web site.

Il Melograno is a beautiful facility with all of the ammenities one could expect in a facility of that quality. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was outstanding.

There was a fruit bowl in the room that had been partially eaten; fruit was showing signs of age. Had to search for help with luggage. This is not the kind of service expected at a 5 star hotel.

Very impersonal, no General Manager in evidence.

Main focus and interest of the hotel seems to be events and functions, with little interest paid to ordinary hotel guests.

Excellent rooms, lovely premises, potentially fantastic, but in practice disappointing because of lack of interest in individual guests (as opposed to groups/functions/events) and mediocre food and restaurant management.
