Lilies of the Valley, Violets, Narcissus, Citrus Fruit Garden, Lilies, Wistaria, Daisy and the Room of the Newlyweds are the "flowery" names of the eight guest rooms, located in the nineteenth century wing of the Farm House.
The rooms, high vaulted with luminous windows and big comfortable bathrooms are all arrayed with great charm and furnished with antiques, all property of the house. The rooms are cool in summer and warm in winter, and are all different from one another; they have original flooring and comfortable wooden or iron bedsteads. |
The rooms were restored giving particular attention to respect the characteristics of the site. We have tried hard to change as little as possible and to make the "lightest" modifications necessary in order to safeguard the quality of good living based normally on space allocation and materials, respecting the existing interior divisions.
This explains why the bedrooms are only eight. We had to choose between "number" and "quality" and opted for the second. All rooms have big and comfortable bathrooms with heating. |
Two of the rooms have an independent entrance through the courtyard. In one of these "Glicine - Wistaria" you will also find a fireplace, while in "Gigli - Lilies" there is an antique but still efficient wooden stove.
In the morning breakfast is served in the warm and welcoming breakfast room. There is another big and comfortable room overlooking the courtyard, where you can sit and read and on the ground floor there is also a TV room. |
