On arrival we had help with our baggage as the approach is gravel which makes wheeling the suitcases difficult.

The buildings, rooms, environs were very tasteful and peaceful and it was a very relaxing and beautiful place to stay. We were somewhat disappointed in the breakfast which was at best adequate but very limited.
The location was excellent in that it was easy to visit many interesting places usually in less than 1 hour.

Quiet shaded private areas around the gardens with tables and chairs.

I would recommend it if they wanted a very quiet, romantic, peaceful but slightly isolated place. You would need a car as it is not really within walking distance of Fasano altho' they do have bicycles.

It is ridiculous that payment is only accepted in cash - travellers do not want to be carrying around large amounts of currency and a credit card facility should be available
