Marmorata Hotel is located along the unique Amalfi Coast, set on the rugged rocks overlooking the sea, one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. The estate was an ancient paper-mill owned by the Camera d'Afflitto family which has now been reconverted into a Hotel personally managed by the family.

The elegant hotel combines refined hospitality with today's most modern comfort. Rooms and facilities offer high standard with a personal touch of luxury, a haven of privacy and tranquillity. The hotel has two restaurants: one inside and one outside, on terrace overlooking the sea. Both serve excellent international cuisine.

The Hotel Marmorata is situated on the rocks of the coast between Minori and Amalfi and thanks to its central and strategic position, it is the ideal starting point in order to reach all the wellknown places either by bus or by boat. Infact, it is possible to embark directly from the Hotel to Amalfi, the Emerald Grotto, Positano and Capri. From the sea one can enjoy the beauty of the coast.

The History of the Hotel:

In the year 1000 was built on the rocks a mill, which was transformed afterwards into a paper-mill. This paper-mill became one of the most important and famous producers of the so called "carta bambagina", better known as the "carta a mano di Amalfi". In 1983 this paper-mill wasn't anymore profitable, thus the building was converted into a Hotel, called "Marmorata".
