We called ahead to confirm our reservation. Matteo, the innkeeper, answered and I was very grateful that his English was excellent. We were able to get very clear directions on how to reach the inn by taxi. Matteo was there when we arrived, welcomed us very warmly, and had our room ready. Once we refreshed ourselves somewhat, he served us some wine to welcome us. It was a wonderful way to start our European holiday.

Our stay at La Magioca was very enjoyable. Matteo and his staff made us very welcome, and their relais is so very charming and comfortable. We would happily stay at La Magioca again on future visits and will recommend it very highly to other travelers.

The lovely details in decorating the inn and the bedrooms was a pleasant surprise. The Web site did not capture all of the charm of La Magioca. Also, the grounds and vistas are magnificent.

To friends in the U.S. I would provide the following description: Imagine the nicest of New England bed-and-breakfasts located in the lovely hills outside of Verona. The combination of views, Italian hospitality, and convenient location make La Magioca a magical place to stay.

The distance from Verona's centre should be conveyed to the customer. The lack of public transport too. These facts might affect the customer's decision regarding car-hire.

Your site is amazing and so lovely to use as the description and pictures help so much in picking a place. Our stay at Magioca was wonderful - the place is beautiful and the owners so friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for your site otherwise we would never have found such a gem!

I would mention the charming chapel in the garden. Only negative was the hot tub being lukewarm and seemingly not able to heat up

What a perfectly magical experience. The property was better than we imagined, and the staff was helpful, accomodating and gracious. A top class act in every respect. We loved every moment!!!

Frankly, we only have one concern about Magioca and that is that it will be overwhelmed by American guests. They're just to loud for us. We wouldn't like to travel to Italy only to hear American English all day.

Stay was great, quiet & romantic. Two comments are that shower in room (Opera) very poor (really low hot water rate) and jacuzzi in garden did not heat above 28 degrees even after 3 hours.
