This is an excellent place to stay. Great location, host, and rooms. The dinner we had was wonderful. The only problem we found was we were staying in July and the room we were allocated on the top floor was extremely hot at night. Although it had an air conditioner the cool air did not circulate so we had a bad night's sleep.

Staying at Locanda was one of the highlites of our 2 week stay in Italy..the dinner was sooo much fun and the breakfast was exceptional, also..we will recommend to friends!!

We knew that breakfast was included but did not know that a dinner was served each nite..the dinner was of very great value..30 euro per person all inclusive was a bargin, but you need to be more explicet about dinner being available at Locanda Rosati..it was a wonderful experience and delicious food!!

My only wish is that suppers were served earlier than at 8:30, especially since they were such large meals.

A wonderful escape from the crowds of tourists. We stayed here between a trip to Florence and Rome and enjoyed the peasefulness of the countryside. The farmhouse was very convinient to the enchanting town of Orvieto. The evening dinner was the highlight of our stay. Great fun and and exciting family style gathering. The chef made a special meal for our children earlier in the day so we could have a nice adult evening with the other guests.

We were given a tour of the property and refreshments even though our arrival was early in the day.

Everyone was so friendly and saw to any request. The dinners each evening were positively grand. We enjoyed meeting and dining with other hotel guests and the owners each evening. What a joyful experience!

There was nothing negative about our experience at Locanda Rosati. Everyone should plan to experience the 5 course evening meal with wine. Outstanding!

Our stay at the Locanda Rosati was a delightful experience. The accomodations were clean and quite comfortable. I must say that the delicious 5 course evening meal with wine and visiting with the Rosati family and other guests each day was certainly most memorable.

As mentioned by other reviewers it is definitely worth having the family style dinner although if you have picky kids the cost may be a little high for what they consume (30 euro each).

After having toured Umbria and Tuscany for a couple of weeks with two teenagers (14 and 16) I would highly recommend booking places such as Locanda Rosati that have pools. You can see many of the hill towns in a morning or afternoon and then have a nice afternoon/evening at the pool with the kids. When it it 30 degrees in Italy you will want to have a pool close by.
Giampiero Rosati, the owner, is a delight. He has dinner each night with those staying at the agritourisimo and is very entertaining. He even had his son who plays basketball join us one day to play some hoops with my son.

think we were pretty unlucky to get the room
which looks out onto the main entrance - so
you cant really have your shutters open if you
want any privacy - a drawback that should
perhaps be reflected in the price? everything
else was perfect.

Although Locasta Rosianti was very nice I thought the accommondations were sparce. the owner and the food was wonderful. I would recommend this property to a friend.

We arrived late missing the scheduled dinner planned, Apparently travel time took longer than anticipated. The owner greeted us, led us to our room, and quickly disappeared. It was 11:30 pm. He did not explain about the heat for the room and subsequently it was so cold I could not sleep all night. Other guests had a cozy stay as the controls for the heat was explained to them, Then again, they were present for, (and paid extra) for the planned dinner.

Had we arrived as planned we probably would have had a good stay. We did not get to spend time with the owner, as he explained that he had scheduled plans the next day and would not be available. The room was very cold throughout the night, which left for a sleepless one. The heating system was not explained to us. I have to say, dispite the great dinner the other guests raved about, that we missed , We would not stay at the loconda Rosati again.

Do not arrive late, although we called to state that we were going to be delayed, it did not help. The owner was formal, but did not give information concerning our room so we would be comfortable.
