The property is located in Brunate a nice village, 750 mt. above Como, which can be reached by the "funicolare" (cable car service) in 7 minutes and by car in 10/15 minutes. From Brunate it is possible to make very interesting visits and trekking in some beautiful spots. Thanks to its position, next to the cable car service, the Locanda Milano offers a comfortable in a calm ambience outside the city centre but near to all interesting sights. |
By Train: the nearest railway station is Como San Giovanni in the centre of Como. From the station you can taker a taxi or we can arrange a pick up service. If you prefer you can take the cable car service bringing you up to the hotel.
By Plane: the nearest airports are Milano Malpensa and Milano Linate. From the airport you can take the shuttle service bringing you directly to the nearest railway station and from there you take the train to Como San Giovanni. From the station we can arrange a pick up service on request.
By Car: Arriving from Switzerland leave the highway at the first exit after the border (Como Nord), then follow directions to town centre (Cittą). Arriving from Milan, leave the highway at Como Sud and then follow for "Como Centro". Before to enter in the centre of the town turn right and follow the directions to Brunate. The Locanda Milano is located in the main square of the village with a private parking. |
