Couldn't have had more helpful nicer people, of all thwe hotels we have stayed in all round the world the staff here beats them all. I had terrible toothache and they went to endless trouble to find me a dentist on the Saturday morning

The staff was excellent. Anytime we had questions the staff was exceptional at taking additional time to insure they address everything. They provided maps and very good recommendations on Como and the Villas. The staff also made a special effort to find a bike rental and called a local bike shop for us.
The room was larger than expected

When we checked out (the night before our departure) we had to leave very early in the morning. The staff offered (without any request) to provide us with a breakfast at 4:45 am.
We will definetely book the Hotel Lenno again and we have already recommended the hotel to our friends.

Everything was friendly & welcoming.

This is a superb proprietor run hotel with the owners very involved with the day to day running of the business. All the staff, mostly long serving, are very pleasant. Alberto, restaurant manager, needs a special mention. His kind attention at dinner compliments the excellent menu & food.
Hotel location is wonderful with the ferry jetty opposite. Lenno waterfront is just a quiet local road with very little traffic.
Would highly recommend & use again

We had to leave a 4.45am for Milan airport.
They were organised 100% for our departure with fresh coffee & the offer of food.

Tv in room was unreliable!

Peaceful, away from any busy roads, beautiful views, very convenient for ferries. One of the quietest positions on the west side of the lake. We felt that there could have been more choice of food for breakfast!

Lakeside venue was perfect - it was peaceful, away from the main road, a real advantage, but ideally linked by boat and bus to the rest of the lake.
Would definitely visit again.

My husband and I are reasonably well travelled and yet Albergo lenno was a wonderful surprise. The setting was beautiful, the hotel was elegant, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location on the lake. The service was absoulutely impeccable especially at the reception desk. The food in the resturant was extremely high quality and an affordable price. Overall, this hptel far exceeded our expectations and we are recommending it to our friends and family.
A heartfelt thanks to the reception staff who were so helpful in finding train times, sight seeing bookings, maps, an on call pharmacist and always with a warm manner.

The web site did not do it justice. I was expecting a small family run hotel with facilities and an adequate restuarant. Instead we found a spacious, elegant hoyel in beautiful surroundings on Lake Come, with a high quality resturant and excellant service. Should be 5* star.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful area and it was above our expectations.

We were recommended to catch the bus back to Como railway station. It was much cheaper than going by boat and then taxi but it was Saturday morning and very crowded with locals and tourists and a most uncomfortable ride with our luggage. Depending on day and time of departure I think I would take the boat next time.

Hotel Lenno has a quiet, peaceful, warm atmosphere. It's close enough to all of the places you want to see, but at enough distance so you feel like you can really relax when you get back to the hotel. The hotel is in a town that has just the right mix (for my husband and I, who like to explore and feel like we're a part of a place) of restaurants and locals, so you don't feel like you're in a 'tourist trap'.
We absolutely loved it!

The accommodation is very spacious throughout the hotel. This means that even when the hotel is full, visitors don't feel crowded. The large covered verandah was an asset I hadn't really expected - on the one day when it rained we were still able to sit outside in great comfort out of the rain.

However, having booked in 2004, we were disappointed that although our room was lake view, it was certainly to the side and we would much have preferred the full view to the front. It should have been made clear at the time of booking.

We were picked up by the transfer service offered by the hotel which was excellent.

We travelled without a rep and organised our own flights and hotel, the staff were really helpful and made our stay superb. For one member of the party, this was their first time abroad and the hotel was chosen to give a good experience - it exceeded these.

Overall the hotel was great but they had a private wedding reception on the Saturday we were there and therefore closed the restaurant to hotel diners for the evening, serving dinner for half-board guests in the breakfast room. Consequently there was no room available at dinner for bed and breakfast guests. Whilst told that the venue for dinner had changed that evening, we were not informed that bed and breakfast guests would not be catered for if not booked in for dinner in advance. Combined with the fact that Saturday evening was extremely busy in all the other local restaurants it meant that we were forced to drive to a nearby village to dine that evening which was a little inconvenient (and would have been avoided if informed of the arrangements early enough).

We had a good room but the quality of the furnishing in the room was very poor. The room was large, good bed and good position, but the cuboards, surfaces and general furnishing was amongst the worst i can remember in a hotel.

The food in restaurant was poor and well below all other places we ate in Italy. The potatoes were 'smash' seved too quickly and seemed to cater for not very discerning clientele.

A major advantage of the hotel is its location exstremely close to the lake ferry. Also the fact that it's on the greenway, one of our principal discoveries during our stay. Lenno itself is pleasantly quiet - indeed, the silence at night was a joy!

They had food ready for our late arrival as requested by email. All in all very helpful staff.

There was no choice for the starter and sweet courses and only 2 chices for each of the pasta and main courses. We felt that a little more choice could have been introduced without too much effort. Staff responded very positively to my wife's fish allergy.

It's a good place to stay, if you intend to discover the surroundings of Lake Como. Situated at the center of the lake you have good access to the villages and towns surrounding the lake.

We booked a room with a lake view and terrace. Our room was on the side of the building and although we had a terrace the view of the lake was not as good as we had hoped for - as it was a side view. The rooms at the front of the hotel were not available - which was disappointing.
