The last few 100 meters of the road are at bad condition. ... The dinner should be recommended. It is excellent! ... Relaxing, enjoyable, different...one word wonderful!

Wonderful to have air conditioning, plus the extra mosquito zapper provided was a nice touch after coming from a place where we got devoured! ... Beautiful pool and spectacular view. Great restaurant with waitress and cooks that were so kind to my little boy. Sitting on the balcony, looking up at the stars, sipping wine, and listening to the live concert down below on the waterfront... nothing could have been more romantic and peaceful. We were sad to leave. Thank you! ... The receptionist at check-out was the only negative. She acted annoyed that I walked up to the desk when she was on a personal call, and she sounded immediately exasperated when I asked if we could have a slightly later check-out time. She was nicer to us later but it was an unpleasant end to an otherwise magical stay. ... Steep, narrow gravel road as you near the property. Tricky in a stick-shift even for an experienced driver. ... Clean, bright, cheerful rooms. Spectacular views of sea and hills. Great restaurant, beautiful pool, perfect balconies to enjoy the night sea and sky.

Directions were unclear. This hotel is quite a way from a decent road. The road up was suitable only for one car with no barriers or mirrors to indicate any oncoming cars. The final part of the journey is on an unmade road that was very difficult to negotiate. This road, until fixed would stop us coming again. Reception area had lots of information on the area which was extremely useful and we were told where to find the only free parking place in La Spezia! Very useful. ... Standard room was very small but with addition of the balcony was quite pleasent. The bathroom had a folding door and the room was too smal for a normal door. Shower and all fittings were of a very high quality. There didn't seem to be many staff but the ones who were there were very pleasent and super efficient. ... Paid for the whole thing at check out. English spoken so everything was very easy. ... The hotel offers evening meals. Arguably these could be included as there is nowhere else to eat and no one would try to negotiate the terrible road in the dark. We did not take the meal option so had to eat early elsewhere in order to get back before dark. The hotel was having a new restaurant built so there was a little noise but most people were out all day so not too much of a problem. Parking was nightmarish on the unmade road with the builders there too! ... Remote. definately need a car and need to to brave to drive it! Views from the balcony was stunning.

Parking was limited and very muddy - ended up walking a lot of mud into the room ... The waitress (Julia) was excellent. Rooms were clean and having a spa bath was a bonus. The view from the room was also pretty good and the food served in the restaurant was impressive too. Only issues were the mud and the room was very hot - we couldn't work out how to turn the heating down. ... The road to get there is tricky. ... A good location if you don't mind being out of town, have a decent car to get there, and have wellies with you if it has been raining. The rooms are decent, the view is good and the restaurant impressive for such an out-of-the-way place.
