La Tonnarella is located in marvelous position facing the sea and with a private beach, with direct access by lift. The hotel is located only few km from the centre of Sorrento and it is quite easy to reach with public transport or with your private car. Restaurants and shops are quite easy to reach and in the surroundings you can find chemists and banks if you need. |

By train:
From "Termini" station of Rome take a train direct to "Napoli Centrale" or "Napoli Piazza Garibaldi" and you reach Naples, which is well connected with Sorrento with a local train called "Circumvesuviana". Take a train with destination to Sorrento (1 hour travel). From the train station to the hotel take a taxi or the orange bus line A with direction Capo di Sorrento.
By sea:
From Naples reach the "Beverello" quay, near "piazza Municipio" or "Mergellina" quay and take a hydrofoil to Naples-Sorrento line or Ischia-Napoli-Sorrento. From there to the hotel take a taxi or the little bus from the harbour to the main square and then the orange bus line A with direction Capo di Sorrento.
By car:
From Rome reach the main road "A1" direction south ("Napoli") and, after the way out of "Napoli", reach the main road A3 "Napoli-Salerno". Exit at "Castellammare di Stabia". Then reach the local road (called "statale") S.S. 145 (that skirts the whole Surrentine peninsula) till Sorrento. In Sorrento follow the following roads: via Degli Aranci and then via Capo. La Tonnarella is located in via Capo number 31, 900 meters from the hospital, on the right side of the road.
Bus service in Sorrento:
A public bus service is available from 06,10am to 12.00am. An orange bus runs every 20/25 minutes from the hotel to the main square and the train station. The bus line is "A" train station/Capo di Sorrento. The bus stop is 20 meters from the entrance of the hotel. |
