Nicoletta, the inn-keeper, sent us an email with more detailed directions in advance. The route was just as she described and La Poesia was very well sign-posted.
She also provided us postcards, Cinque Terre National Park maps, and a train schedule immediately upon arrival.

Nicoletta was very gracious. For part of the stay I was ill. She inquired about my health and provided day-time snacks for my husband and I on the one day we had to stay in. The daily breakfast was also wonderful - we could have stayed there all day!

A cab picked us up at the train station and brought us right to La Poesia. No charge, just left him a tip. We waited 2 minutes for the cab to arrive. Very efficient!!

Loved the intimacy of the property but our particular room was on the small side. However, very clean and well decorated.

We had to leave extra early to catch a train but the hostess, Nicoletta, was there waiting for us with a carry out breakfast and a charming little wall hanging tile--'La Poesia'-- as a gift.She could not have been nicer!

I had a problem with getting some medicine that I forgot at home and Nicoletta was extremely helpful getting the local doctor to make a house call and write a prescription. She was wonderful.

We already have. My only hint of a complaint was that the nightly room rate was a little steep for the small room but everything else was very, very nice.

Our stay at the La Poesia was the highlight of our 3-week Italian vacation. The facility itself was lovely. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom new and clean, the breakfast delicious. Our room was small but typical by European standards, although I understand the other rooms are larger. The patio where breakfast was served was very pleasant. What made our stay exceptional was Nicholetta, the proprietor. She treated us like we were her friends staying in her home. She offered us refreshments every time we returned back to the hotel. She made recommendations for restaurants and arranged for reservations. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend La Poesia and would definitely go back.

The trains went on a one-day rotating strike the morning we were to leave so Nicholetta made several phone calls to help us find the best way to Pisa.

Upon arrival our hostess was terrific. She was so welcoming and informative. She gave us what we needed and b/c it was late didn't overwhelm us with info but informed us she would fill us in at breakfast.

We viewed the room on the website and it looked to be a 'theme' room. On-line it looked kind of cheesy, but in reality it was breathtaking. It was so big and spacious, the bed was so comfortable, the washroom was spectacular and the breakfast was absolutely splendid. Definitely the best hotel/B&B experience in all of Italy.

Was presented with a gift from La Poesia, it was a miniature version of the B&B made of pottery. What a great way to remember a spectacular place!

The breakfast is spectacular. Not only do you get great italian coffee, but you are treated to great pastries, cheese, prosciutto and fruit.
Also, that there is laundry service available and it is inexpensive and very quick.

A great little B&B located in the sleepy side of a seaside village that provides an excellent service to their guests. Not only are they hospitable and knowledgeable but they are kind and provide a very clean, top notch accomadation for travellers. The rooms were fabulous--quite romantic and very 'posh'. The breakfast service just raised the accom to the next level. You didn't leave hungry or disappointed.

We arrived quite later than expected but the receptionist waited for us and was most welcoming and helpful.

La Poesia was a delightfully charming place to stay. The room was perfect, the staff very personable and helpful and the dining terrace was lovely. Although the rooms do not have a view of the sea, the location in the historic town center was excellent and very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. This hotel provides exactly the right ambiance for a stay in Cinque Terre.

The rooms were a little on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Service was consistently outstanding. Also, the suite was well worth the premium.

Nice place, expensive, in the middle of the old town, quiet with a nice garden, the room is very small but has a very nice bathroom. Perfect for a short stay.

Our delayed arrival was totally our fault as we missed our first train from Rome. But the staff at La Poesia left a note and came right over as soon as we arrived. The hospitality we received was wonderful, from the daily maid service to the exceptional breakfast. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Our train was running late and we were provided with a free taxi transfer to the accommodation.

The room was very small, but clean. There was no airconditioning and it was hot. At least there was a fan. Person in charge was a pleasure to deal with.
