Breakfast: Is served on the terrace, at the restaurant (in case of ugly weather) or if you prefer directly in your room. It is a typical continental breakfast, with croissants, marmalade, coffee, tee, with a great attention to kind of food.

 Restaurant: Is available for guests and the cuisine, which is very enjoyable, is an expression of the local area and follows the course of the seasons. All the typical regional specialities are included, blended together by a general touch of creative intuition. |
 The restaurant is a marine house in beautiful coastal surroundings on the Mediterranean, restructured in the fifties, today enlarged and modified to provide excellent accommodation, including breathtaking terraces overlooking the sea, garden and private sea path leading to an enchanting bay with full bathing facilities in summer. |
 The wine bar is adjacent to the dining room and offers all the most prestigious labels wines from the Campania region. At street level there are premises housing a display of purchasable pottery and coral. Typical decorations of the historic Vietri tradition can be seen on plates, glasses and even the smallest and most unexpected ornamental item for the house or table. |
 On the hotel premises which borders on the sea there is a rocky lido equipped with bathing facilities in summer and solarium in winter. It can be reached by a foot-path which leads through shrubs and tress, typical of the Mediterranean flora, and also provides suggestive views over the bay. |

Next to the hotel you can visit the famous "Grotta dello Smeraldo" from which the hotel takes its name: it will enchant you with its crystal clear water and its colours. Near the hotel you have the possibility to discover the beauty of well-known towns like Amalfi or Positano with their small and characteristic streets. You will find all kind of shops where you can buy the typical products of the area, such as "limoncello" or the ceramics. You will taste some delicious dishes in some good restaurants with terrace overlooking directly the Mediterranean Sea. |
