By plane: The airport in Pescara, International Abruzzo Airport is located only 25 kilometres from the property, welcoming flights from cities like Frankfurt, Barcelona and London on a regular basis, as well as connections within Italy. Meanwhile, if your plane lands in Rome (Fiumicino airport), the distance is of around 250 kilometres.
By car: From Pescara-Abruzzo airport, drive towards Pescara and continue along the coast road till Francavilla Al Mare. Turn right into road SS263 and head in the direction "Guardiagrele - Passo Lanciano - Pretoro". After around 7 kilometres, pay attention to the buildings around you: opposite SIMA, a store selling agricultural cars in orange and yellow shades, you will see a road to the right. Take it and continue up the hill: the third house on the right, painted in intense red, is La Capezzagna. (30 minutes drive).
If you are driving from Rome along route A25 "Roma-Pescara", get off at exit "Chieti". Follow the indications for Chieti-Francavilla and keep on straight for around 7 kilometres. You will come to a junction where you must turn left, driving towards "Francavilla-Guardiagrele". 5 kilometres later, get on the road to Francavilla at an Agip petrol station: then take your right towards Ripa Teatina. Once you reach the town, follow the signs to Miglianico: drive on for around 5 kilometres, till an Api gas station where you should veer right into SS263 "Val di Foro". Drive towards "Bocca di Valle - Pretoro - Guardiagrele" for around 7 kilometres and the SIMA store will come into view. Then follow the indications already described. (2 hours 10 minutes).
By train: You can reach the property from Pescara airport by taking a bus to Pescara bus station, and then the busline "Francavilla - Miglianico - Guardiagrele". Get off at the 7th kilometre of road SS263. The nearest railway stations are Pescara Centrale - 22 km from the inn and accessible from Rome in 2 hours and half to 4 hours - and Chieti, 14 km. |
