GETTING TO HOTEL IS A BIT OF A CHALLENGE - PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC AS YOU ENTER CANGOLI

THIS HOTEL IS REMOTE.. AND QUITE A DRIVE UP A WINDING MOUNTAIN ROAD.. THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR ON YOUR SITE
WE REQUESTED A ROOM WITH TERRACE WITH WAS GREAT - DEFINITELY A HIGHLIGHT OF OUR STAY
VIEW FROM DINING PATIO AMAZING

the hotel was very accommodating, we changed our booking at the last minute and they did not mind which was a great plus.
the chambermaid (from Chile) helped us by ginving a special plug for the computer which was very helpful

we loved it very much the view over the from the terrace was amazing. perhaps you could hand out clear specifications about walking routes in the park.

we were glad there was no problem about checking out earlier than we planned

well it was not very clear to us that the hotel was on mount portofino facing the bay of camogli and not the harbour of portofino itself

It might be helful to make clear that the hotel is not on the main road but is quite a way from the main road. From the instructions we were expecting it to be on the top of a hill on the main road and so were surprised to find we still had some way to go once we reached the sign for the hotel

The only thing a little disappointing was that the equipment in the gymnasium was a bit shabby and we did not feel inclined to use it.
Also we felt that the restaurant was a little overpriced although the quality was good.

I think that people need to be advised that a car is essential. The courtesy bus is good but is a little too infrequent to rely upon it - I believe it only runs every two hours.

Excellent hotel - good facilities - stunning location and views of the riviera coast.

-Swimming pool and jacusi supposed to be warm and accesible but it was not warm, it was very cold indeed, impossible to swim.
-Breakfast in room was not satisfactory, with some hot beverage that were cold, and some butter that was totally melt.

the big antenna close to the hotel is a real bad surprise. it does affect a lot the look of the place, which by the way is beautiful! of course it is not shown on pictures available on the internet, which I understand, but this antenna is so big that it just freeze you up at your arrival, the place being so cute otherwise!

One of the rooms had a malfuncioning air-conditioner: water was dropping from it to the table below it. The problem was solved by next morning.

We had a very pleasant stay..friendly staff, excellent food, good hiking possibliities....

We ended up by coincidence on the Via Aurelia leading to Tua and the hotel...maybe the description could be refined.....

Warm welcome, pleseant atmosphere, away from the buzzle of the citiesm, still close to many interesting spots...

It was disappointing that the swimming pool was not heated and, hence, could not be used. The whirlpool was out of order.
