By car
From the North of Italy : take the A1 highway in the direction of Napoli and Salerno . From Salerno take the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway in the direction of Reggio Calabria . Exit at Villa San Giovanni and proceed until the harbour. From the harbour take the ferry-boat to Messina . From the Messina harbour follow the directions for the motorway, take the A18 in the direction of Catania and, after approximately 35 minutes, you will see the Taormina toll-booth. Follow the directions for Taormina centro .
From Palermo : take the A19 motorway in the direction of Catania . From Catania take the A18 and then the exit Taormina .
By train
From Taormina/Giardini Naxos railway station you can reach the Taormina city centre by bus. From the bus station proceed on via Luigi Pirandello until the Porta Messina crossroad. Continue to via Costantino Patricio to the ancient wall of the town, pass through the Cappuccini arch and after S. Antonio church follow the directions for Isoco. | | |
