Coming by Plane
If you arrive at the airport Catania (CTA) Fontanarossa (about 70 km from Taormina) you can go by train from the main station of Catania to the station "Taormina-Giardini" (from the airport to the station you can take the bus or a taxi). Once arrived at "Taormina-Giardini" station to reach the Hotel either you go by bus (to the bus terminal) or by taxi. From airport you can also reach Taormina by bus in 1h30 or 2 hours. The bus station is situated not far from the guest house, but we suggest you to take a taxi if you have heavy luggage.
By Train
The Taormina-Giardini Naxos railway station is considered one of Italy's most beautiful because of its elegant and charming Sicilian Liberty style décor.
From Taormina's railway station you can reach the Taormina bus terminal with a bus (every 20 minutes) or by Taxi.
On foot from the Bus Terminal (About a 10 minute walk): Follow "Via Luigi Pirandello" until you arrive at the intersection of Porta Messina (this is a large stone arch). You will make a right turn on "Via Costantino Patricio" and following the old wall of the city for about 30 meters on your right you will find another arch, "L'arco antico dei Cappuccini". Pass through the arch and you will be on "Via dietro Cappuccini". You will follow this via bearing to your left once you pass the church of S.Antonio until you find our sign (look high up) on your left. Follow the steps up to the Guest House and you will find me waiting for you with a refreshing welcome drink.
Coming by Car
Taormina can be easily reached via the A18 Messina-Catania motorway; the "Taormina" exit is just 5 km from the Hotel. The first road you find in Taormina is Via Luigi Pirandello, until you arrive at the intersection of Porta Messina (this is a large stone arch). Make a right turn onto "Via Costantino Patricio" and following the old wall of the city for about 30 meters on your right hand side you will find another arch, "L'arco antico dei Cappuccini". Pass through the arch and you will be on "Via dietro Cappuccini". Follow this street bearing to your left and pass the church of S.Antonio until you find us on your right hand side, at the end of the street. |
