Better quality of Map as it was a bit misleading as to its location. The B&B is just outside the the Ring Road amd was further from the centre than expected. This was not a problem. But, the street numbering was a bit confusing.

The only disadvantage we experienced was that we had to look for a parking space for 2 cars on a very busy avenue and that we had to leave the cars ont he street during the night

I Portici is certainly to be recommended

There was no elevator but that was ok. The reception of our gracious hosts more thank made up for it.

We had a great time. Carlo and Anna were very accomodating, and even their daughter Lorenza was always concerned about our comfort.

I will recommend the place to my friends because IPortici is very homey and the hosts Carlo and Anna were very nice. The bed was comfortable, and there were always fruits and sweet goodies on the table. The location was also ok as there were lots of stores around it just to grab our necessities, and there sites were just a short walk away. I myself would go back there. I actually miss it already.

we hadn't realised that we were staying in the spare room of someone's home, which is not a criticism, but it would be nice to have keys to come and go, but we had to liase with the owners for when they would be in to let us in on our return from the centre of town on boths days

the room is at the front of the family's flat on a road with very heavy traffic which did keep us awake both nights

also we were sharing a bathroom with the other guests, which we should have asked about before we booked
but the family were very nice and welcoming

i think it should be made more clear that this is a spare room in a 2nd floor town flat which is lived in fulltime by the family who runs it - the flat is 2 floors up off a busy main road and it was only the wife there when we arrived so we carried large bags up two flights of stairs (i am 5 months pregnant)- there is no lift for older people than us

very clean, very friendly b&b lived in by nice Italian family - good large breakfast, traffic noise was a disadvantage and shared bathroom was not great, but only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Bologna which was good - very literally is a bed and breakfast in someone's house not a hotel set up of any sort but good for 1 night

Anna was very sweet and helpful, gave me a drink right away and showed me around.

I really enjoyed my stay with Anna and Carlo. They were very polite, helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful location, cozy, delicious breakfast, clean bathroom. There was always a full bottle of water and a basket of organges in my room, which was a lovely touch. Anna and Carlo are extremely helpful and sweet.

the instructions did not mention that it is inside a builing rather than property on it's pwn. The sign for the B&B was very small.

The hotel went out of it's way for us twice on check out. They organized their routine to suit our schedule & as well when a requested cab did not show tythey drove us through the rain the the central train terminal.

A good deal, pleasant & very easy walking into the histroci city centre.

Nice and confortable two double rooms and bathroom, in a family appartment, just 15 min walk from the town centre. Very friendly and warm welcome and service.

We were not provided key access. Although our host was very accomodating about making sure that we knew that he would be around to let us in, this still limited our freedom to explore either at night or early in the morning, or to change plans if needed. On vacation, one shouldn't have to make arrangements to come and go.

As I mentioned above, I think was unaware that I would not be given a key to access the site. I'm not sure if this is something I should have known, but it did surprise me and limited my enjoyment.

It was a wonderful location but they would want to make sure that they were comfortable about not having key access and having to share one bathroom with up to 4 guests and a family of three.
