By Air:
The nearest airport is Naples Capodichino, which is connected to the major International and Italian airports. Private transfer is provided, on request, from Naples airport to Sorrento. A bus service (Curreri Bus) links the airport to Sorrento in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
By Train:
The national trains arrive at the upper level of Naples Central Station.
From the lowest level, you can catch the train (Circumvesuviana) to Sorrento. Departure each 30/40 minutes and journey takes 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Private transfer is provided, on request, from Naples Central Station to Sorrento.
By Car from Milan - Rome:
Take the A1 motorway towards Naples. After 200 Kilometers take connection to A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway. Keep driving for 23 kilometers and leave the motorway at Castellammare di Stabia exit. As soon as you are out of the motorway, take left towards Sorrento (road SS145 Sorrento-Penisola Sorrentina). Along the road you drive through three tunnels. After the third one, keep driving for 12 kilometers. In Sorrento, follow the sign to Piazza Tasso, then the orange sign to Imperial Tramontano.
By Car from Naples:
Take the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway. Keep driving for 30 kilometers and leave the motorway at Castellammare di Stabia exit. As soon as you are out of the motorway, take left towards Sorrento (road SS145 Sorrento-Penisola Sorrentina). Along the road you drive though three tunnels. After the third one, keep driving for 12 kilometers. In Sorrento, follow the sign to Piazza Tasso, then the orange sign to Imperial Tramontano.
By Hydrofoil:
Direct service from Naples (Beverello pier only), Capri, Ischia (from May to September), Positano (summer time) and Amalfi (summer time).
Distances: Positano, 13 km. Amalfi, 25 km. Capri, 20 min. by hydrofoil. Naples, 40 min. by hydrofoil. Ischia, 60 min. by hydrofoil. |
