The nearest airport is "Milan Malpensa". Once there you can reach the hotel taking the shuttle service provided upo request (extra charge).
Coming by Car:
If you reach Hotel Villa Margherita by car from Malpensa airport take the "A26" highway in direction "Gravellona Toce". Exit at "Baveno/Stresa" and take the main street SS34(Lungolago)towards the Swiss border. You will find the sign for "Hotel Villa Maggiore" on the left hand-side. Turn left and you will find the villa's entrance.If you reach Hotel Villa Margherita by car from Switzerland take the SS34 in direction Lake Maggiore and you will find the villages of Cannobio, Cannero Riviera and Oggebbio. Entering the village of Oggebbio with Lake Maggiore on your left hand-side you will find the sign for Hotel Villa Maggiore on the right hand-side.
Coming by Train:
The nearest railway station is at Verbania-Pallanza, 5 km far from Oggebbio. It serves the line Milan-Domodossola. Once at the railway station you can reach Oggebbio catching one of the frequent local buses running from the southern to the northern part of Lake Maggiore. |
