 Hotel Riviera is perfectly located on the lake side, in front of the lively and famous town of Bellagio. The hotel has a restaurant, or if you prefer there are some restaurants in the area. Bars, banks and chemists are also available in a short walking distance. The hotel is quite easy to reach and it is in via Statale Regina, at number 43, in front of the lake. |
By car:
- Coming from Milan: follow the highway "Laghi", A9, to Como - Chiasso. Take the exit Como nord ( that is the last exit for Italy, before to enter in Swiss. Then follow the direction to Menaggio and take SS340. The hotel is on your left side and it has a private parking.
- Coming from Lugano: take the exit for Lugano nord and then follow the direction to Gandria - St.Moritz. When you have passed Lugano, follow the direction to Menaggio.
By train: the nearest railway stations are Lugano (27 Km) ; Como (30 Km) or Varenna Esino (4 Km). If you arrive at Como, (San Giovanni), from the square in front of the exit, there is a bus, C10, leaving to Menaggio every hour and the bus stop is very near the hotel.
By plane:
- From Linate: there is a shuttle bus service to the railway station in Milan. From there, you can take the train to Como and then as above.
- From Malpensa, take the line C250 to Como and then the line C10 to Menaggio.
- From Orio al Serio, there is a bus service from the airport to the station in Bergamo. From there you can take the train or the bus to Como and Menaggio. |
