They were very helpful and hospitable. ... We have just returned from a full month's travel basically around the world and our experience at the Hotel Paradiso was a delight. The staff with our children were more than helpful especially dining in their restaurant and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer there. A great spot and wonderful Italian hospitality!! ... Staying in 'high season' when all the Italians are on holiday Portovenere is extremely busy and parking at Hotel Paradiso is very difficult, but not impossible. If there were one or two allocated spaces out front to park and carry your luggage in from the car before having to locate a park would be of great help. ... The perfect place for losing yourself in love of great Italian seafood, amazing views and wonderful people and romance. Unforgettable!!

We arrived early and were lucky to have our room by 1pm. Staff all very nice. ... This hotel was the highlight of our trip. The only confusing thing was travel details were not in English on the site. Staff were great, nice after the large cities where smiles were not the norm. ... That the tariff included an evening meal, this made the 200 euro excellent value. ... Magical, warm friendly a highlight of the journey. We wanted to stay in this hotel as it was the only hotel with sea views. We wanted to relax with the sea close by, AAA+ location and hotel.

We passed the Hotel the first time through Portovenere and had to drive one way for 4 miles before findinf it again. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. ... In general, the staff was not very friendly. One staff member was incredibly nice and helpful. The views were great, but the parking was difficult. The food was average - we ordered an appetizer for the table for 12 euro and they brought 4 appetizers for 48 euro without first asking. ... Decent hotel in a very touristy area of Italy. Not as romantic as described.

staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the accomodation was half board and the dinner (3 course meal, no extra cost) was some of the best food we had in our 3 week stay around italy - we were only there 2 nights. Probably the highlight was the Cinque Terra and our stay at Paradiso. ... fantastic, would definately recommend.

Not so easy for us to find the bus from La Spezia but it is a great free survice when you can figure it out. ... A little small than we has expected. I feel it was a little pricey for the size room we got but in the hotels defence, the views and food were lovely.
I would like to see a little more fresh fruit at breakfast. eg, fruit salad perhaps ... As above ... It is really buitaful. Views from the room are lovely. I would recommend it to friends but would mention that it is a little pricey. It is perfectly located to catch the boat from the Cinque Terre walk which is what we went to Porto Venere to do

Although getting the RSVP was very difficult, and your help was very helpful, the hotel is lovely, the staff very helpful, free use of hotel owner's laptop computer throughout, the meals were delicious! And the views from the room amazing! Wonderful stay! ... Rooms are very small, but that was expected ... amazing views from hotel. Very helpful staff ... Great location in that it is near Cinque Terre but quieter. Great value, views, helpful staff.

The Hotel Paradiso is located on a road with very limited parking. For 10 Euro/day you get a certificate from the front desk that you place in your car entitling you to 24 hours of street parking. This may be some distance from the hotel, so drop off passengers and bags first. ... Excellent restaurant with breakfast and dinner included in the price, making it a great deal. The dinner included pasta course followed by a seafood course and dessert. ... The room was small (we had our two grown children with us who had a separate area) but this is typical in Europe. Bathroom was fine. View was great.
