Coming by train: the most convenient railway station is Naples Centrale, at piazza Garibaldi, where on a lower level you can get a Circumvesuviana local train to Sorrento (it takes about 60 minutes). In Sorrento, close to the station there is the bus stop "SITA" for Positano-Praiano-Amalfi. In Praiano there is a bus stop near the hotel. If you want to take a taxi from the railway station to hotel "Open Gate" it will be more expensive.
Coming from Naples airport: if you arrive at Naples Capodichino airport, you can take Curreri bus till Sorrento and there you catch Sita bus to Positano-Praiano-Amalfi. In Praiano there is a bus stop near the hotel. If you wish, you can take a taxi.
Coming from the north by car: from Rome reach the main road "A1" direction south (Napoli) and, after leaving Napoli, take the main road "A3" to Napoli - Salerno (do not take the "Tangenziale Napoli") and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs Penisola Sorrentina, the road to Meta di Sorrento, then Positano - Praiano. Look for the Hotel "Open Gate" on your left. |
