"Hotel Miramare" is located on the Bay of Naples between Piazza del Plebiscito and Castel dell'Ovo, nearby all major cultural sites, shopping areas, train stations and ports. It housed the American Consulate in 1944. Soon after it was transformed into Hotel Miramare. The villa was built in Liberty style and still retains it original elegance. |

From The Central Station:
Once you have reached "Napoli Centrale" railway station, get out of it and, in "Piazza Garibaldi" take the bus line number 1. Get off at the sixth stop called "Via Acton". Follow the street for about 600 meters, keeping the Public Garden on your left, and you'll find us on your right hand side at number 24.
Alternatively, take the metro, line 2, and get out at "Mergellina" station.
From Mergellina Station:
Take bus line 140 and get off at "via Santa Lucia" stop, from this point the hotel is about 200 meters. Walk towards the sea onto Via Cuma. Go straight until the end of the street and make a left onto Via N. Sauro. Hotel Miramare will be on your left.
From Capodichino Airport:
The airport is located 7,8 km away and it is easy to reach by taxi (about 20 minutes). If you are coming by car, after the airport exit, turn right and take the "tangenziale" in the direction of Pozzuoli. Exit at "Fuorigrotta" and keep going straight. Go through the small tunnel and keep going straight in the direction of Campi Flegrei Station which is at the end of the street. Turn left and go straight, passing through a longer tunnel. After the tunnel, take the second right (the sea will be in front of you) and then make a left (the sea will be on your right hand side). Keep going straight for about 3 km. and you will see Hotel Miramare, a small grey and pink villa, on your left (just before the road turns left away from the sea). If you prefer to take a public transoprtation, at the airport get on the "Alibus" and after 15 minutes get off at "Piazza Garibaldi", in front of Napoli Central Railway Station.
Directions by Car:
Follow the "Zona Portuale - Via Marittima" sign on the highway until the end. Choose exit "Via Marittima". After exit, go straight in the direction of Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) until you reach the tunnel. Turn left before the tunnel; after about 200 meters you'll be along the sea. The street becomes a one way street; follow it until it ends - where you'll have to turn right. After making the turn, you'll take the first left (Via Orsini), and then make the second left onto Via Cuma. Go straight until the end of the street and make a left onto Via N. Sauro. Hotel Miramare will be on your left. |
