Coming by Plane
The nearest airport is "Milan Malpensa". Once there you can reach the hotel taking the private shuttle service called "Alibus" which runs every 3 hours 7 days a week. Please note that the service must be booked in advance and the journey takes approx. 1 hour. The bus stops on the promenade opposite the hotel. If you reach Hotel La Palma by car from Malpensa airport take the "A26" highway in direction "Gravellona Toce" up to Stresa. The hotel is located along the main street (Lungolago).
Coming by Train
Stresa railway station is well connected with Milan, Geneva and Paris. The train station is within walking distance from the hotel. Take the street leading to the shores of Lake Maggiore and you will find the hotel on the left hand-side. If your luggage is too heavy you can reach us by taxi (there is a taxi stand opposite the railway station).
Coming by Car
From Milan take A8 Highway "Laghi-Sesto Calende-Varese" direction, then take the A26 highway towards "Gravellona Toce" and exit at "Carpugnino".
Once there take the street called "Lungolago" all straight on up to Stresa. You will find the city centre with the tourist office and main square; go ahead for approx. 1 km and you will find Hotel La Palma on the left hand-side. Take the street on the right hand-side of the hotel and you will find its private parking. |
