Get in motion! A very warm welcome to all sleepyheads and sports' addicts, wellness fans, seminar participants, celebrities and regulars, families and enterprising singles, golf freaks, gourmets and connoisseur of wines, babies, kids and teenagers! Great news for all climbing fanatics: from spring 2004, we have a climbing wall directly at the ocean. You will be looked after by professional climbers and will be able to climb the wall two times a week or any other time on previous request.
 
Take a dip! Although we may sound boastful we must admit that we are very proud of our pool! It is equipped with five lanes and as we like to take good care of the very ambitious swimmers amongst our guests, one lane is always reserved for undisturbed training purposes. We have had the honor to host National teams as well as sports clubs, however, our smaller guests will not feel neglected as our children's pool is located in this area as well. Water gymnastics is free of charge at Hotel Kalura: Dario, our fitness trainer, invites you to exercise with him three times a week. If you like to sign up for private swimming instructions: we provide a trainer for you!
 
Our widely known "Grigliata" takes place at the pool once a week in the summer months. "Grigliata" is a barbecue party with lots of food, wine and music which usually ends long after midnight with disco dancing under the fantastic starry Sicilian skies. Perhaps the most beautiful part of our hotel - only 98 steps are between you and a beautiful blue sea that stretches out in all directions as far as your eyes can reach.
 
You will have a splendid view over the sea and the coastline east of Cefalù in direction of Messina. Over 500 square meters of space are at disposal of our guests for extensive morning breakfasts and our weekly candlelight dinners. Our bar is also located on this level as is our house pianist who will entertain you with discreet live music up to three times a week. Our terrace is the perfect spot for all kinds of events.
 
We offer various location for your dining experience: Dining hall Federico II, which overlooks the golf and Sicily's eastern coastline. Furthermore, the idyllic Corradino dining hall and last, not least the rose blossom dining hall close to the pool. The hotel offers also an Internet point and a private parking, plus a garage for your car.

Get into the groove... The Ogliastrillo Music Empire is very popular with teenagers. It is located 3 km out of town on SS 113 in the direction of Palermo. It is open on Fridays and Saturdays from the end of May till the middle of October. Le Calette disco is located in the hotel Le Calette in close proximity to Kalura Hotel. It is a very popular place, but not before 1 a.m.! Open from the middle of June till the middle of September, during August even 6 times a week! It is in walking distance from the Kalura but you will not be disturbed by its noise. The entire area is really rich and plenty of nice and lovely bars and pubs where you can spend some really pleasant moments. Only few minutes by car and you are in the centre of Cefalù or you can easily reach all the other nice villages of the coast!
